Sound Transit, the Seattle’s region’s transit authority, on June 22 closed on a $ 87.7 million TIFIA loan from the Federal government to finance the Operations and Maintenance Facility East (OMFE) in Bellevue, WA.

This  is the second loan issued under the authority of the $ 1.99 Billion Master Credit Agreement Sound Transit and the US Department of Transportation executed in December, 2016. The first loan was for $615 million to support the Northgate Link LRT extension.

Sound Transit has been a Peyser Associates client since 1999 and Peter Peyser advised Sound Transit during the approval process for this TIFIA loan and their previous ones.
